16 May Pedal Bone Infection – Case Study

A recent case treated by Berkshire Farriers – the horse had a large proportion of the distal phalanx surgically removed following a deep infection.   A bar shoe with a hospital plate was fitted to enable easy access for daily treatment with manuka honey swabs.
